China Medical University Fall 2026 English Innovative Storytelling Competition Guidelines

一、活動目的

1. Event Objectives

（一）本競賽旨在透過創新思考活動，引導大一學生結合校園與生活經驗，運用英文展現故事化的表達與創意思維。除了提升學生的英語基礎能力與溝通交流技巧，更強調「創新思維」與「英語敘事力」的養成。
This competition aims to guide first-year students in using English to present their storytelling and creative thinking skills through innovative activities combining campus and life experiences. In addition to enhancing foundational English and communication abilities, this competition emphasizes developing 'innovative thinking' and 'English storytelling capabilities.'

（二）具體要求（Students are required to）:
  1. 運用創意思考，以新穎或多角度方式切入主題（如模擬未來校園、醫學人文故事化呈現）。
     Employ creative thinking to approach topics from novel or multi-angled perspectives (such as simulating a future campus or presenting medical humanities as a story).
  2. 以英語進行完整且具感染力的敘事，展現故事結構、角色塑造與觀點表達。
     Perform a complete and engaging narrative in English, demonstrating clear story structure, character development, and persuasive expression.
  3. 結合校園特色、人文精神或社會關懷，彰顯中國醫藥大學的獨特價值。
     Integrate campus characteristics, humanistic spirit, or social care to highlight the unique value of China Medical University.

二、比賽方式

2. Competition Format

（一）參加對象：全校修習本學期「英文(A)」及「英文(B)」課程之學生，須與原修課班級同學組隊。已申請免修之大一學生亦可自行組隊線上報名參加。
All students enrolled in English (A) and English (B) courses this semester must participate. Teams must be formed with classmates from the same course. Freshman students exempted from English courses may form their own teams and register online.

（二）小組人數：每組最少 3 人，最多 5 人。
Groups must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 students.

（三）各班推薦名額：每班 30 人以上推薦 2 組；每班 29 人以下推薦 1 組。
Nomination: Classes with 30 or more students may nominate up to 2 teams; classes with 29 or fewer students may nominate 1 team.

（四）參賽限制：每人僅限參加一隊，每組僅可繳交一份作品。
Each student may only participate in one team, and each team may submit only one entry.

（五）課程配分：本競賽共同作業佔學期總成績比重 10%。
This assignment accounts for 10% of the course semester grade.

（六）獎金發放：獲獎團隊之組員須平均分配獎金。
Team members must share any awarded bonus equally.

三、影片內容與主題

3. Video Content & Themes

（一）主題範圍：須與本校生活或大學生經驗相關（如校園活動、社團經驗、醫學人文關懷、社區服務等）。
The topic must relate to our university or collegiate life (e.g., campus activities, club experiences, medical humanities, community service, etc.).

（二）評核重點：展現創新思考（如提出新觀點、新穎敘事架構）與英語敘事力（結構完整、具感染力與溝通力）。
Focus on demonstrating innovative thinking and English storytelling ability.

（三）呈現形式：片名自訂，形式不拘（可採第一人稱視角、旁白、角色扮演、訪談秀、微電影或微紀錄片等）。
Video title is self-determined. Formats are open (e.g., first-person perspective, voice-over narration, role-playing, interview show, micro-film, or micro-documentary).

4. Video Specifications

1. 語言與字幕：全英文發音表達，並須附英文字幕。
   Videos must be in English with English subtitles.

2. 影片長度：限制為 4 至 5 分半鐘（4分00秒～5分30秒）。
   Video length must strictly be between 4:00 and 5:30 minutes.

3. 原創拍攝：必須為原創拍攝素材，禁止使用未授權之他人素材。
   Must use original footage and photography. Unauthorized third-party materials are strictly prohibited.

4. 解析度與格式：解析度 720×480 (含) 以上，影片格式限 MP4、WMV 或 AVI。
   Resolution must be 720×480 or higher. Acceptable formats: MP4, WMV, or AVI.

5. 繳交規範：請依授課教師及公告之指定管道繳交。格式不符規定或資料不齊全者，視同棄權。
   Submissions failing to follow technical specifications or lacking required materials will be deemed disqualified.

6. Awards & Incentives

◆ EMI 護照點數：凡依規定完成參賽之同學可獲得 EMI 護照點數 1 點；獲獎隊伍同學可獲得 3 點。（若參賽作品未達水準，得由評審團決議減額錄取或從缺）
EMI Passport Points: 1 point for eligible participants; 3 points for winning team members. (Awards may be reduced if entries do not meet quality standards).

七、評審流程與評分標準

7. Evaluation Process & Criteria

（一）評審流程：
  1. 初選階段：由各班英語授課教師依班級評選機制進行初審並推薦隊伍。
  2. 決選階段：由通識教育中心召集英語教學與創新教育專家學者組成評審團進行統一評審。

（二）評分標準：

※ 總分相同時，依「創新思維」、「英語敘事力」、「製作技巧」之得分高低依序決定名次。

八、注意事項與參賽規範

8. Rules & Regulations

（1）全新原創規範：參賽作品須為全新原創，嚴禁抄襲、仿冒或曾參與其他公開競賽。經查證屬實者，取消參賽及得獎資格，並追回已頒發之獎金及獎狀。

（2）AI 使用限制：參賽作品嚴禁使用生成式 AI 人工智慧進行語音配音或旁白生成，影片須由學生親自以英語發音演繹。違者經評審團查證屬實將取消資格。

（3）著作權授權：影片中所使用之背景音樂、圖片素材及肖像均須取得合法授權，恪遵著作權法令規範。若有侵權情事，參賽團隊應自負法律責任。

（4）內容風氣規範：作品內容不得涉及暴力、色情、侵犯他人隱私或妨礙社會善良風俗之情事，違者主辦單位得逕行終止其參賽資格。

（5）非營利成果授權：參賽團隊同意無償授權主辦單位得將作品進行剪輯、改作、公開展示與網路發表（如學校官方網站、YouTube 頻道等），作為非營利教學成果推廣與宣傳使用。

（6）自留備份：所有繳交之競賽資料及影片檔案，主辦單位恕不予退還，請參賽者自行妥善留存備份。

（7）主辦單位權限：凡報名參賽即視為同意本簡章之各項規定。本辦法如有未盡事宜，主辦單位保有最終修改、解釋及裁決之權利。
